In the thread below, I mentioned that key legal cases for the rights of women were assisted by numerous support groups. Among them, one called「働くことと性差別を考える　三多摩の会」("Santama Association to Consider Work and Sex Discrimination") deserves a bit more attention.

She is annoyed. She says, "What if I don't listen to you?" The third panel shows the brain smiling. The fourth panel shows the brain reaching towards a lever. The brain says, "I'LL MAKE YOU."

Japanese used bookstores are reporting a massive uptick in bulk purchases of used Japanese books by overseas buyers, seemingly without any regard to their contents.

The only logical conclusion is that these books are being stripped, scanned, and discarded to train AI models.

Arg, I saw that there are 4 replacement days in the event the weather is bad—I’ll need to be savvy about our excuse and really pull out something at the last minute 😂 The pressure is real, next week the PTA expects parents to stay behind to make paper flowers for one hour or so after drop off.

For the first year ever, I decided that no, we will not do the 運動会. For the past 3 years I fought to get everyone there on time, my kid crying, my husband still half asleep and me, mad as hell. No one spend a good time, we end up grumpy.

I say NO. NOT THIS TIME SATAN.
