I know people like to joke that Magic is a children's card game but this spoiler season is the first time I've felt like that was an accurate description.

I love this so much and I am absolutely tearing up about it. The gentleness and plainness of this, the way he just lets her be her (and she seems so damn lovely, who wouldn’t?), the generosity.

It isn’t going to solve the world’s problems, but this kind of humanity is a hell of a start.

About 12 years ago I was with some friends at a scotch bar in Baltimore called Birds of a Feather and someone realized Patton Oswalt was at the end of the bar. He was deep in conversation with someone so we didn't bother him. Miss that spot, it was a good one.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

Unfortunately, that’s the wrong position. *Specific* AI learning models have very useful cases (MRNA vaccines being a particularly notable one), but when it comes to actual “general intelligence,” the technology is snake-oil peddled by conmen.
All AI should be banned. This is the logical position. This is the moral position. This is the easy position.
