Dad's 85th bday dinner. Mostly okay but mum gave my sisters a late Easter present and then just said to me "I haven't got one for you". On the one hand I don't care about stuff. On the other it's the principle of the thing. I'm quite annoyed.

My mother, who is in deep denial about her short term memory loss, keeps telling me Obama was shot. Now, obviously, he wasn't. He's doing good. She's thinking of JFK. She's been confidently incorrect about it twice now but her memory is FINE /sarcasm

Talking to my mum (who has memory issues) is just so HARD. We have a not-good relationship, and her old trick whenever you accused her of something was "I never said that" (because she didn't want to admit it) Now she just can't remember, and I have to listen to the save 7 conversations on repeat.
