Being involved with a new edition of Phoenix is an honor (and a huge responsibility). The series will be published in six large-sized (7x10") hardcover editions with cloth casewrap, screenprinting, and gold foil. Feat. the original Dadakai translation with revisions/updates & letters by @sara.pizza
Side note: I've been vibrating sitting on this news for eight months and the fact that I didn't spoil the announcement today by walking around telling literally everyone I know that we're doing this is a minor miracle

I was going over some of the trends/eras of illustration with my students today and Corporate Memphis created the most conversation. It was compared to a business man in a happy face mask, Arial & pop music. Good in contexts like brightening up a train station, bad in masking the cruelness of tech.
