Somehow not everyone is aware of fact alluded to below. So one more time:

John Roberts, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett were all on GWBush 2000 'Florida Recount' team.

(Which made GWB first prez in 112 yrs to 'win' after losing popular vote. Now they 'impartially' rule on our future.)
Let me see if I've got this right. The team of lawyers who stole an election in Florida, and gave W the presidency, are now the Scotus team at the center of the GOP theft of our democracy.

Absolutely stunning/horrifying to see a 5th measles death in PA.

This means the outbreak is probably far higher than numbers count, seeing as roughly 1-3 people die per 1,000. Many people aren't being tested.

Also: I'm going to states now for info, not the CDC* app.powerbigov.us/view?r=eyJrI...

Eoin’s piece is worth reading in full. The point is that it’s critical to hold the responsible parties to account and certain types of language obfuscate that responsibility.

That said, I fear we’re already trying to close the barn door after the fact when it comes to precision of language.
AI isn't going "rogue" because it can't—and we won't get a grip on how companies like OpenAI are playing with fire until we have the language right
There are no “rogue” AI agents
Identifying them as such only lets companies like OpenAI off the hook.

Gentle reminder that you never ever needed an Apple Watch ... it's a sunk cost so why not enjoy smashing it with a hammer? 🤭
Some folks will claim that this is hyperbolic, but what I wish people would understand is that tech initiatives like this serve as a means of eroding consent and lower the barrier for the persistent capture of people’s image, voice, data, or whatever else a gadget can glean.
