Hi to everyone who just followed me from the lalafell starter pack, welcome in 👋 I apologise that my updates are quite chaotic rn because I have three characters all on different stages of MSQ. Going to update my pinned soon and hopefully get back into some gposing

Noticed this very interestingly Elpis-looking building in Azys Lla while wrapping up HW tonight. I wonder if this was always there, or added later 🤔

Started EW on our replay a couple of nights ago and I'm very interested to see how I feel about it on a second playthrough. There are parts of EW I loved and parts that really irked me :') The biggest of them all? The Scions going "cool, anyway" when we got back from Elpis. What do you MEAN

let’s purge some grief memories with sphene and the gang!
cw / medical horror (regulators have needles), referenced child death and several canonical deaths

Roscoe is a GNB/MCH combo with weaponry provided by his mother Mimiru, the engineering equivalent of a mad scientist. How many weapons he has on him at any point is anyone's guess, but him removing them is basically one of my favourite tropes: the old classic Where Were You Keeping All Those
#WoLQotD How many weapons do your WoL comfortably have on their person at any time?

Yuyuka meticulously checking that her whiskers look pristine and smooth vs Roscoe rolling out of bed and letting whatever shape they’ve crinkled into be his style for the day

Thinking about it a few of the Scions have to live with making bad early impressions on Yuyuka
Alphinaud: Invited her to his party after doing near fuckall in coils as a flex but it went to ratshit
Roscoe: Arrested for regicide right in front of her
Thancred: Spotted butt naked in Dravania

Man I had completely forgotten about my favourite Thancred line in the 5.5 solo duty. "The BEST defence is a GOOD defence!"
You're so stupid. I hate you (affectionate)

Fun fact: the first time Yuyuka met Thancred, she was working in Tailfeather on white mage duties, and he was running around naked in the chocobo forest having been deposited out of the Lifestream in his birthday suit. It was unfortunate

I love that if you look at both of my main XIV blorbos and the way I dress them you'd think I never left my IRL goth phase, but in reality I dress like a cross between a toddler and a dad at a barbecue

Thinking Saran thoughts today. Thinking about how DRK is cathartic for her beyond everything else going on in the quests. DRK is about casting aside your shield and your previous allegiances - Saran WAS a knight of Baron, but Baron is gone. She has no one's cause to fight for but her own

In the Brambleverse, every expansion is approximately a year, and the NPCs GENERALLY age accordingly, but also some of it is pure vibes. And then there's MSQ time shenanigans which makes it weirder. We keep the twins' ages in line with Yuyuka's, which also requires some muddling
#wolqotd (kinda)
The Encyclopaedia Eorzea books provide ages for NPCs: how do you "treat" this piece of info within your own wol's lore/timeline?
Are they canon? If so at which point in time? Or do you adjust them to your personal timeline? Or perhaps it's all the "1 year time bubble"?

Many years ago when I first started playing XIV one of my friends was flying around in this mount and I wanted it so bad because it looked so stupid, but I didn't understand how to do the Yo-kai event. Finally, the dream is fulfilled

OK genuine maybe silly question.
Has anything in HW MSQ changed in recent years? Because replaying it, NO ONE in my FC who's played it before remembers things happening in the order they're happening.
Did we just collectively hallucinate something different

Halmarut and Calyx (mascot-ified) were built in a lab for me specifically. I am delighted by their Team Rocket silliness being paired with off-putting, uncanny, haunted energy. This is how strive to write my OCs.

Thought we were on 5.5 on our Brambleverse replay, turns out we weren't and I had erased the Fourchenault scene and the last solo duty from my mind. It is time to continue Roscoe's crusade against every other dad in XIV :)

Tried to change my email address on this account to match my main to hopefully get the age verification to work, but it won't let me. If I'm not engaging with labelled art/gposes/fic on this account it's not that I'm ignoring you, I just annoyingly cannot see it 🫠

LRT we're doing the Vault tonight with our first-timer pal who really likes Haurchefant and if I remember "HAHA! I'M FUCKING GREEN" at the wrong moment I'm going to have to mute myself
