This year has seen the most Open House London planning I've done, at least insofar as, of the four weekend days, two that I'd fully planned out I ended up binning for various reasons and replanning from scratch. Good job visiting 20+ buildings in two weekends isn't tiring in any other way too, eh 🫠

Couldn't work out why there were no Lewisham to Victoria trains today, until I opened a section of @serailway.bsky.social's Engineering Works page titled "No trains via Swanley" and inexplicably found the Bexleyheath line, unrelated to Swanley, in there www.southeasternrailway.co.uk/travel-infor...

This story is a perfect example of how broken reporting of the mobs roaming Britain's streets now is - and the political response. What would have been the appropriate response if this hadn't been a sports team? Trash the hotel? Force them out into the street? What about other people staying there?

Looked at X to see how others were doing on the #LFF hashtag (mostly better than me, 17,000th in the queue). Awash with scammers offering "spare LFF tickets" (to what?!). Reported them for illegality, got an almost immediate follow-up saying automated systems found them not illegal. Goodbye again, X
