I read Zora Neale Hurston's #book "Their Eyes Were Watching God," & loved it.
"Well there was some chicken..."
"Oh so you offerin' her some chicken was. She can't eat that. What she want is some chicken is."
This had me chuckling. I love the humor & closeness of everyone. I need more of her books.

Police murdered a Black man in the street in Madison WI today. Shot point blank in the head while on the ground, tased, and surrounded by four cops. It looks like an execution. Multiple videos circulating online. Things are about to get very bad here.

Voters deserve to know when an elected official is unable to fulfill the duties of their office. I wrote a policy proposal calling for transparency, accountability, & continuity of representation. If you feel you deserve active representation, consider writing your own letter to your reps.

The so-called "Save America" act has nothing to do with saving America.
It's meant to suppress voting, and trump is desperate to pass it because he's been breaking promises and getting his grift on since he got back in office.

Reorganized my spice cabinet. I pulled most of it down, refilled my smaller containers, and threw out the empty ones. Doesn't look like I cleared out much. Hopefully, I won't have to dig around for a while. Before and after. #Foodsky
