Up today at GameCritics.com, Brad Bortone (the OTHER Brad) reviews The Green Light.

This psychological horror treads familiar ground, but still manages to deliver a few solid moments thanks to excellent audio design.

Folks, I need a good rec for a horror movie -- something monstery, funny is a plus, nothing too grimdark or harrowing or brutal.

Anything from 2000-on, preferably. What ya got?

Up today at GameCritics.com, John Powell reviews Desk Space: Idle Spacefleet Clicker.

This incremental experience largely delivers on its premise, but it lives in a strange middle ground where letting it idle was too slow, but giving it attention wasn't fast enough.

Heads up to fellow action figure maniacs, the good folk of Transformerland.com have just added a new, comprehensive visual guide to Dino Riders, from the '80s.

What a fantastic resource for vintage collectors!

Up today at GameCritics.com, Konstantin Koteski reviews Mortal Shell 2, from developer Cold Symmetry.

It's hard to encapsulate what a massive leap forward this sequel is compared to the first, but there's no question it's one of 2026's best.

This is what people voted for. Then they complain endlessly . . . and vote for it again.

Geez people, look at what is actually happening, not what you're being told, and recalibrate.

The director of Ori and No Rest For The Wicked is awful. He compared cancel culture—that is, social & professional consequences for abusers when the law fails—to the holocaust.

His new anti-critic review platform will formalise racist, sexist review bombing as a feature, not a bug.

Fuck this guy.

Up today at GameCritics.com, Eugene Sax takes a quick look at Minegeon: Renegades.

This pixel-art roguelike covers the basics, but feels like it's probably a lot more fun in multiplayer than it is solo...

A bit more time in the oven is needed, he thinks.

Up today at GameCritics.com, writer @baxnalley.bsky.social covers Verho: Curse of Faces and finds this King's Field-like to be a distillation of its first-person RPG inspirations, yet one that might not bring many new ideas of its own.

Just to stress the point. The Paris Agreement's goal of reaching net zero in 'the second half of this century', would now need to be reaching net zero by 2031.
When the Paris Agreement goals was negotiated in 2016, targets were set based on what was feasible at the time.

A stark takeaway from today's UNEP 'overshoot' report is that we fucked it up. We didn't do the things we needed to do. We wasted a decade and the consequences are coming.

Up today at GameCritics.com, Brad Bortone (the OTHER Brad) covers Nightmare Shift.

This throwback-themed, short-form horror title taps into the fear that people working lonely nighttime gigs often feel when manning a desk solo.

When historians from other countries look back on the end of the United States, I hope they call out the 435 people in the House of Representatives & the 100 people in the Senate as accomplices. The country had safeguards against collapsing into monarchy, but these 535 people let it happen.

Up today at GameCritics.com, Eugene Sax offers up a video review for Wild Blue Skies.

This furry aerial combat game takes obvious cues from Star Fox, but fails to move the formula forward in any meaningful way despite the source material being decades old.

Up today at GameCritics.com, Ben Schwartz reviews Emuurom.

This indie metroidbrainia offers super-cute pixel graphics and asks players to scan local flora and fauna in an attempt to leverage their quirks into a way home. Also, there is language decoding.
