13/ Collectively, these cases show that as the administration has relentlessly pursued immigrants, federal agents have run roughshod over the constitutional rights of citizens too.

Read our investigation:
More Than 500 U.S. Citizens Have Been Detained, Including Handcuffed or Held at Gunpoint, in Trump’s Immigration Crackdown — ProPublica
The government doesn’t track how often immigration officers detain U.S. citizens. So ProPublica did. We’ve found more than 500 Americans who were held against their will during this Trump administrati...

The White House accord on AI that was signed by all the big tech oligarchs today misspells United States as “Unites States.”

A Medicare enrollment campaign ❌ not equal a patriotic image campaign.

One tells citizens how to access a government service. The other asks them to feel a certain way about the nation and its leaders.

The White House defense depends on pretending that information and persuasion are equivalent.
“Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., insisted to reporters that Trump is “not the first president who’s done this,” even though Trump is certainly the first president to recycle a campaign ad and use taxpayer dollars to run it as a public service announcement.”
‘I hate it’: Republicans call out Trump for his taxpayer-funded campaign ads
The White House has re-aired a campaign ad and made it a “public service announcement.” Even Republicans are calling it out.

@utaustin.bsky.social, see the shirt this child is wearing? As a 3rd gen Longhorn, I'm wondering what "Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis" ("Education is the guardian of the state") means in practice.

When a child becomes the face of a deportation campaign (wearing your t-shirt) - will you speak up?
