‘Space Oddity’ was our 1st Bowie cover in 2012. We added instrumentation & production in 2019, & overhauled it again in 2026 w/ more ambient production. I cobbled together a video from old NASA footage. Here’s an excerpt. Full video on YouTube.

Picked up a like-new in box Roland S-1 & the first thing I did was to create a passable ‘Save a Prayer’ patch. Fantastic little synth. Punches way above its weight. Cheers to Chris Hall of Stabbing Westward for making it available for purchase on Reverb. ✌️✨🎶

Recorded vocals for another new song. Helena sounds wonderful. Enjoy this blurry image of her via a reflection in the window, along w/ silly effects. And a mix of the song. Planning on an early fall release. More soon. ✨✌️🙂🎶

Productive weekend. Helena recorded vocals for a new song, tentatively titled ‘Endless’, featuring the talented Shannon Heaton on flute. Again, the arrangement changed when Helena added vocals. Enjoy this excerpt w/ video of slow-moving sky.

Chapter 1 of Con Chrisoulis’s fantastic graphic biography of David Bowie, “Rebel Rebel”. Like his “Tales of The Smiths”, it tracks the beginnings and influences & provides a cultural history of the England in which he grew up. 👨🎤✨✌️

Here’s an excerpt of a new song, ‘A Seahorse in the Thames’, w/ an unrelated 10 year old video from an Everglades airboat tour. It’s Bowie-inspired—its musical basis, Helena’s lyrics, & even title. More on all that later. ✌️✨

Finally got a vinyl copy of ‘Remain In Light’ and this is just wonderful. Wish it was the version with corrected writing credits and lyrics, but still a fantastic pressing and a nearly flawless listen, front to back.

When someone asks you what Neil Young albums you like, I guess these aren’t the ones you’re suppose to choose. But they’re mine. Haha.

Really enjoying ‘Tales of The Smiths’, a fab retelling of the band’s prehistory thru ‘Hand In Glove’, Chrisoulis uses their own words to tell the story. Short episodes, including relevant listening & reading suggestions. Artwork/inking is fantastic.
