Thankfully, nothing bad can happen in the meantime.
Saudi Arabia is working to bring back about half the capacity of its East-West oil pipeline within days, bypassing a section damaged in drone attacks last week. Saudi Aramco is aiming for a full return to capacity in roughly six weeks.-Bloomberg

Hmm wonder who that is all by himself in the top right
Pretty rough outing for Patrick Mahomes last night. He was 12% below his expected completion rate, the worst mark in the league in Week 1.

His 41% success rate was in line with Kirk Cousins and Daniel Jones.

For context, 4-year high means the highest since the end of lockdown when everything had stopped and all stocks had been depleted, and then suddenly everyone wanted everything at once.

Every cabinet position is important, but most of them could withstand secretaries who blatantly and arrogantly lie and have it take some time for the consequences to bear out. Treasury and Defense suffer more immediately and are occupied by the two worst men in an acrid administration.

BESSENT: I believe there are ways to do it without increasing the debt or deficit

VARGAS: Such as?

A reminder that this is an avenue available to everyone in the House. A direct proposition to impeach is a privileged matter, and though they'll table it, you still get time on TV to talk about why you think it's necessary.

At least for as long as "the rules" apply.

Diesel new highs, China crude making new record premiums vs Brent, backwardation accelerating, tanker rates exploding. All of this suggests the crude market is tightening rapidly because China has stopped relying on strategic draws. Much more impt than the US SPR if it sustains.

It's like if Phillip Morris had told people that tobacco would destroy humanity so they could use regulatory capture to start a state sanctioned cigarette cartel to keep Russia from being the ones giving Americans cancer.
Not a single proposal for AI regulation seems serious to me, it's basically all "mandatory censorship" and "create a government-sanctioned cartel"

The current criteria requires a country to be "European", so that's a non-starter unless you try and claim they're European because of St Pierre et Miquelon or something like that. The other criteria are basically a sinch.

Haven’t quite watched the whole season yet, but it’s really well done and the cameos by the old men balance fun and prudent surprisingly well.
The new trio on The Grand Tour are really good. It’s impossible to emulate Clarkson/Hammond/May, and they aren’t trying. They are really doing their own thing.

and interesting that they have been doing video content forever before being called up to the big time. Well practiced for this.

IMO, the AI companies are better off running with the "rogue AI" story because the real story is actually pretty embarrassing.
