When fields burn, hunger follows. For refugees & displaced families already struggling to survive, the destruction of crops is not only an attack on land, it deepens the global food crisis, threatens livelihoods, and puts countless vulnerable lives at greater risk. Food security is a human right 🌾🕊️🍞
This is what the fields of the Christian village of Taybeh look like after Israeli settler terrorists set them on fire yesterday.

An entire mountain was set ablaze. All crops destroyed.

Immigrants & asylum seekers are not our enemies. They are not responsible for the austerity, privatisation, erosion of civic life, thinning of democracy and concentration of power we suffer. But they're being punished for these things. Punished at the behest of the very people who *are* responsible.

Refugees and asylum seekers who have fled trauma deserve safety first. Access to proper mental health care can help them heal, regain stability, and prepare for the journey ahead. With support and treatment, many can travel safely and rebuild their lives—provided their condition is not worsening
Sky News reporter just asked if we should consider the mental health of the people fleeing trauma before admitting them to the UK. Not should we consider the needs they would have when they get here, should we consider it before letting them in.

When violence and intimidation become tools of displacement, accountability matters. Sanctions alone cannot heal the suffering, but they send a clear message that human rights violations must not be ignored. Justice, dignity, and protection should belong to all people, without exception.
Settler violence in Palestine has reached extreme levels. In response to this, Australia, Canada, France, Norway and the United Kingdom have taken coordinated action to introduce sanctions and other measures to hold extremist Israeli settlers accountable
