If anything is likely to get me to leave the house more it's my fury and indignation at being told the genitals I had as a baby dictate where I can go as an adult.

My first full time job. I was 17. It was transferring pages on to microfilm. Place a page on a table. Press a button, put it to the side. Repeat. Don't stop. Go faster. Eight hours. Five days. £50.

One week, got my wages, never went back.
In honor of the fired lady tell me about your shortest job tenure. I worked at a candy store for less than 2 weeks when I was like 16

Me researching how trans people had even more reason to avoid the work house in the 1800s than most people while the 2026 UK Labour government takes inspiration from those policies.

Realistically, the amount of taxpayer money wasted on writing and implementing anti-trans policy, for no actual benefit to anyone, should be a national scandal. It won’t be, though, since that money has been wasted on giving our bigoted media exactly what they wanted.
Even leaving everything else aside, and that is a lot of things to set over there, how much time has been consumed by this for trans people? How many other things lost, days destroyed, memories robbed, all because some rich white folk with nothing better to do with their lives hate us.

The whole Arday scandal and the reaction to it makes perfect sense when you assume that, for those responsible, the death of a young black person of some modest prominence and influence was a good outcome, they're glad it happened, and would like to do it again.
God, these people are such fucking pricks. He’s dead. This is dancing on a grave.
