Boundaries of normality are policed through colonial medicalized authority. "Normal" people don’t yell and scream, even in the face of constant violence. This is used to turn the image of the angry activist into a tool to delegitimize their demands by Othering them.

Feeling validated that we stopped buying Driscolls when there was a labour dispute and I forgot to ever check if it was resolved. So just never bought.
