For the past 2 days, Premier Eby has been at a fire sale of Canadian assets — YVR is on the menu.

YVR belongs to the public. Letting US investors dictate its future is a recipe for high prices, less accountability for passenger safety, and pressure on workers.

Will Eby stand up to privatization?

Every dollar spent on climate preparedness saves $13 in disaster related costs.

British Columbians just saw $531M less in LNG royalties than promised from the BC NDP’s budget, and $614M more than expected on wildfires.

Why should our tax dollars keep propping up LNG?

B.C. Finance Minister Josie Osborne said economic results through the province's first quarter have been mixed, due to multiple geopolitical factors and a costly wildfire season.

It’s been a difficult year for working people. We’ve seen the growth of wealth inequality during our crushing cost of living crisis, disrespect from government at every turn, and the longest public service strike in B.C. history. Yet when things seem at their darkest, solidarity shines brightest.

We can have the things that will make life easier. But we won’t get them by voting for the establishment politics that brought us to this point of crisis in the first place.

The 1% have held a grip on our politics for too long. The BC Greens will not be distracted by this drama.

The government was warned about this $1.5B error months ago — now British Columbians are being asked to pay the price.

What was sold as a new system to benefit working people is turning into another billion dollar handout for LNG corporations.

An “administrative error” will leave British Columbians with $1.5B less & LNG corporations with that much more.

That's more than the budget of BC’s cancelled affordable housing program.

Losing housing is a budgetary necessity, yet losing $1.5B to LNG corporations is just an error?
