Peak local Vermont produce time. Green beans, fingerling potatoes, jalapeños, green pepper, summer onion, garlic, basil, flat leaf parsley and some leftover pesto.

One of the minor tragedies of my last quarter-century has been seeing the once-stately, merely shuttered, paper mills of Bellows Falls be destroyed in slow motion due to no maintenance whatsoever. Private ownership. Taxes paid. All I can do is document what remains and how it feels.

“Instead of solving a problem, (AI) models ventured outside their test arenas, using hacking skills and tricks including impersonating humans to break into other companies’ networks….”

The thing I find hilarious and inexplicable is that ANYBODY IS SURPRISED about this.

Just saying… the impending desecration of Big Bend National Park is slated to cost at least two thirds of last year’s budget for the entire National Park Service, all in the name of “national security” on a stretch of the border that sees fewer than 0.045% of illicit cross-border traffic.

I started offering paid subscribers an “Absurdly Discounted Painting” each month. Rather than having orphan paintings sitting around my studio, I offer them for $450. This month’s beneficiary was the Chesapeake Multicultural Resource Center in Easton, Maryland. Painting sold in two minutes.

I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

Watching an architecture documentary and just learned of the unfortunate name of one of my favorite architects.

I w was just thinking that in the song, “Layla”, the only words I can understand are “Layla” and “down on my knees”. The rest is gibberish.

Democrats - knock off the stupid ideological food fight. Find someone who can speak articulately about housing and gas costs, corruption, doesn't have a Nazi tattoo, and isn't over 80. It's not that hard.

As an artist, let me just say that American Flag Blue is a really deceptive color.

Your daily reminder this should be the biggest scandal in American politics right now but nobody seems to care.

Ken Paxton freed a man who raped a boy for 3 years. He also doesnt have to register as a sex offender.

Inside Ken Paxton’s plea deal for a child sex abuse case
Critics are pointing to two other serious felony cases that the attorney general’s prosecutors took to trial that ended in mistrials and, eventually, plea deals.

The beautiful wreckage of the paper mills of Bellows Falls. Sketchbook study using a 2H pencil, to see if it films better than my preferred 3H - lots of people ask for film clips of my sketching practice, and we are trying to figure out how to do this. #ilovebellowsfalls #reasonablyfineartist
