'Sport Coat' from 2014 is a fun one. Not grown from seed, it is a vegetative sport of 'Joseph's Coat Katkamier'. There's a half dozen sports off this line of irises. A rare occurrence.

This made me laugh because it proves what all good editors know: Nobody is immune from the thing where our brains know what we meant to type and will skip over errors accordingly. It's why you need fresh eyes on your work! And why I won't do multiple levels of editing on the same client manuscript.

I'm already basically cooking for six every time because there's a teenage boy in the mix. He eats as much as the other three of us combined. We don't HAVE leftovers. Ever. 😂

Money has been super tight this year, so we need to order in less, and I physically cannot cook for the whole house every single night. Solution: My autistic household of people scared of the kitchen are going to have to learn to cook more. @sinboy.bsky.social is helping me figure out easy recipes.
