There are 270 black professors in the UK. Out of 26.000. About 1%. But somehow journalists who clearly have no idea of how academic hiring works manage to create an illusion of "wokeness" having taken over hiring decisions at universities.

We also celebrate Dr. Canady and Dr. Greene, two poignant trailblazers in neurosurgery.

We're reminded of their tenacity as both became board-certified in neurosurgery, the first African American woman and first African American man to do so. 🧠👩🏿‍⚕️👨🏽‍⚕️
