Trump has signed Lindsey Graham’s sanctions bill, H.R. 5334, into law.

Will Washington now use it to squeeze the Russian banks, oil revenue and shadow fleet?

Or will Trump find every excuse under the sun to faff around, stall and deflect from Putin’s obvious lack of interest in ending it?

Rheinmetall plans to ramp up production of Skynex and Skyranger air defense systems to around 400 units annually by 2027, reaching eight systems per week. Ukraine already operates Skynex systems and has been receiving Skyranger 35s mounted on Leopard 1 chassis since November 2025. #Ukraine

Russian hybrid attacks across Europe are becoming increasingly brazen, Bloomberg reports. Drones have been spotted near energy facilities and airports alongside arson and cyberattacks, with defense companies and logistics connected to supporting Ukraine facing particular pressure. #Europe

The new figures for Russia's daily losses are in and personnel losses are back down to nearer the daily average for the month.

No addition to aircraft, despite Ukraine claiming to have hit 3 planes + 3 helis, but hitting doesn't mean destroyed & these are figures for destroyed.

The attack on Rostov continued for much of the night.
It's believed Ukraine's drones were targeting the central airport again, the day after hitting 6 aircraft there.

Last night I showed Russia's dodgy missile air defence, while the mobile fire teams seem just as chaotic.

According to Russian sources, around 360 drones were reported, though these estimates and the displayed routes remain highly approximate.

Ukraine’s General Staff reported that two S-400 launchers were struck near Vygonichi in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast on September 16–17.

This is part of systematic work against Russian launchers that are used for strikes against ground targets in Ukraine.

Still in Zaporizhzhia, the war crimes continue.

A drone just failed to hit a bus as it pulled into a bus stop. Three people were injured.

There was better tactical news for Ukraine from its drone attacks.

TWO Russian S-400 air defence launchers were destroyed in Bryansk on the same night. These have not been used for air defence, but rather to fire ballistic missiles into Ukraine.

Quite a lot of damage in Kyiv overnight..
Not least 20 people were injured in Russia's attacks.

Some have been discharged from hospital, but five remain there.

I showed this impact site last night when it was dark. Now you can see the scale of the impact and how it damaged homes.

Over the last few days the fuel situation in Russia has improved visibly. Also AI-98 gasoline has started to appear at places where they haven't had it for weeks. This isn't so much due to repairs but the country using what reserves built up ahead of the Duma elections.
