yeah I have to admit I was wrong about this, however I will say there is strong evidence neoliberal economic policy fuels the far right, eg through financial crises and austerity
It's true, the claim more left-wing economic policy will weaken far-right popularity has been proven wrong.
But the claim that adopting some of the far-right's social policy will weaken far-right popularity has also been proven wrong. Other people being wrong doesn't automatically make you right.

I find it interesting how in casual usage this site, 'imperial Japan' is often treated purely as contemporary to Nazi Germany+fascist Italy, when Japan as a colonial empire lasted more than both combined.

Here’s the thing. Iran is led by a murderous tyrannical regime that slaughters its own people. But its demands are actually reasonable. Trump started an illegal, unnecessary war of choice. He lost. He should pay for the damage he inflicted. Preferably out of his own pocket. Maybe Bibi can chip in.
