The "all anti-Zionism is always and forever antisemitism" people and the "all antisemitism becomes fine if we just say it's anti-Zionism, even if we're ranting about the Talmud" people reinforce one another, even if both sides utterly fail to see it.

There's a decent argument that this column violates the criminal code prohibition against inciting violence. The thing he's accusing Lewis of is also how Yitzhak Rabin's killer tried to 'justify' his actions - removing other Jews to 'protect' the Jewish people. This is sick, and a shanda.

Winnipeg is still clawing its way back from the infrastructure deficit caused (in part) by the tax freeze brought in by the guy who was mayor two before the current mayor, over a decade ago. How is anyone taking Klein seriously?

Anyone who has ever been involved in s.35 consultations, on either side, will be able to tell you with absolute certainty that there is no possible way that they could accomplish this in a year, never mind 2.5 months.

Smith is just straight up lying.
Premier Danielle Smith says if Albertans favour separation in the October referendum, consultations with First Nations would take about 2.5 months and a second, **binding** referendum on secession could happen early next year.

The way to build better major projects in Canada, and build them faster, is to work with Indigenous partners instead of treating them like an obstacle to be managed.

Ensuring that the First Nations on whose land the projects are being built consent to and participate in them is the surest way to tilt the balance towards prosperity for all.

Greenland belongs to Inuit, not Denmark. Greenland is not Denmark's to give away sovereignty to, no matter how small the "pockets".
“.. Denmark would give the United States sovereignty over small pockets of Greenlandic land where the United States could build military bases, according to three senior officials ..”

No, Indigenous people are not coming for your privately owned land
Despite how fearmongering politicians and pundits are framing the landmark Cowichan decision, the legal test for proving Aboriginal title is extremely difficult for most First Nations to meet.
