Our society expects everyone to have kids, but they forget that there are different ways to help the next generation. You could, for example, put all of the money you save by not having kids into gold and bury it and leave a cryptic map to a random distant relative that sends them on a big adventure

I know I say this every year but it's insane to me that houses built on the west coast of Canada are still built with heating and insulation. It gets below freezing for a few minutes a year and then it hits the 30s every summer, who are we even kidding
