We published a new paper in the #CanadianJournalOfCardiology

doi.org/10.1016/j.cj...

We show that 57 of 201 included articles (28.4%) contain image-related or data-related issues. All these papers investigated microvascular injury after acute myocardial infarction in mouse, rat and pig models.

Pseudoreplication is the practice of treating non-independent observations as if they were independent replicates. This can dramatically increase the rate of false positives.
