Making a thread of my #ChrysosHeirsZZZAU posts so I can organize them and find them quickly in the future
And just in case I unpin it, obligatory gif for media tab searching (and so anyone who looks at this is aware of my bias and agenda lol)

Man. I hate feeling like I'm slowly losing myself. Like I'm just coasting along pretending to be alive, cuz I'm really not present at all in anything. Only a facet of me is, the one pretending all is well, while the rest of me is lost in some weird void, and more is lost as time goes on...

Fordola is the most interesting redemption arc for me becuase they have a character that isn't demanding she be forgiven. She's working as hard as she can to earn forgiveness from herself and acknowledges that she did things that could never be forgiven and doesn't ask anyone too

If i wrote that into a fictional story, any competent editor would THROW it back at me.

(And please don’t worry. While my success & public joy seem to be upsetting to some, I feel like I’m getting to live my dream life!)

I remember the exact moment, early in my transition, working in Copenhagen, when I realized I was being perceived as a woman by my male coworkers. I realized it because they were interrupting and talking over me in meetings.
One after another, women reported being sexually harassed by male supervisors, getting paid less than their male peers, getting passed over for promotions, getting talked over in meetings.

The midterms are six weeks away. What can you do NOW to get your people to the polls? Plan your party, your rideshare, your potluck ASAP. Don't wait for November 3.
