So much of the tone policing of safe streets advocates boils down to, "It's mean to make drivers feel uncomfortable." This is of course something we see across all kinds of social and political movements that challenge some dominant force.
When he says not calling it violence would "get a ton more public support", he actually means "I personally find this irritating". Which is fine, this is the opinion site, but say that instead then! There are whole research fields about language and framing and theory of change!

As a Linux user the main issue is that it's a bitch to install anything on Linux. You'll find whatever software you want and you'll download it or run the command and it'll turn out that you actually need to download a bunch of other stuff they didn't tell you about bc they just assume you know

BP are technically first responders, but as we can see here and we have seen countless times through the years, they do not respond to help people who they don’t think need help. Because of international cell phone agreements, it can also be very hard to call 911 in remote border areas.
