I was in 5th grade, but my school pretty much also did this. I had no idea anything unusual happened out in the world until near the end of the day when we got papers to take home to our parents alluding to a plane crash in New York
one unique 9/11 experience i had was that my school decided to pretend it wasn’t happening. teachers were instructed not to discuss it and just proceed with teaching.

Some of my friends and I do a music league challenge where each week we submit a song fitting a certain theme. This week, we submitted songs we listened to in middle or high school, but since we’re a mix of millennials and Gen Z’s, some of these songs are from like 2016 🫠🫠🫠
