Please stop bringing up 1976, for a start you have to be over 55 to remember it. Also it does us a disservice. It provides climate change deniers with a nonsense argument that this is only weather, it isn't. One outlier 50yrs ago, is not the same as +30⁰C in May/June year after year. 🔥🔥🔥

Change is limited in western democracies if we maintain our adherence to the capitalist market. Governments, in whatever form, are simply tinkering with the edges, the have-nots will remain so whether Labour, Reform or even the Greens "govern".

How infuriating to hear the chairman(?) of Asda on the Today programme implying that land use for solar farms might significantly hurt UK food production. It's nonsense. Golf courses use more than solar ever will & beef/lamb production is huge yet provides a tiny fraction of our protein & calories.

Just wanted to remind folks, especially the GOP and the FDD, that Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal didn’t give Iran control of the Strait of Hormuz or allow it to keep 60% enriched uranium. It sent $1.7 billion to Iran versus the tens of billions Iran will now make from tolls. 🤷🏽♂️
