increasingly it seems like the only real answer to this is to find ways of ensuring guaranteed income for people. imo we are reaching a point where people who want to build or do things will be able to - unrestrained by skills - and there will be a lot of people who will no longer need to work

I believe very deeply that the death penalty is a moral stain on our country and that there is no place in it for State-sponsored murder. I do, however, believe that we should be able to hunt a few of our fellow citizens without any negative repercussions.

I always find it instructive that I learned about how we fought the Nazis abroad in school but I had to learn on my own that they filled MSG before we did that. Similarly, everyone learns about how the klan burned the South, but it's not discussed how Fred Trump was arrested at a klan rally in NYC.
