Seeing former prime ministers Stephen Harper and Jean Chrétien join Prime Minister Mark Carney and Premier Scott Moe on stage sends a message far beyond this investment announcement.

Blanket tariffs are driving up costs and making home ownership unattainable for future generations. This is a tax on us. It’s inexcusable that we haven’t reached a tariff agreement with our neighboring countries.

Trump and the people around him have no sense of patriotism or sovereignty. To them, politics is another grift—another way to the top. But as we are seeing, Canada doesn’t share their view. Canada has a plan and they are acting—and America will now lose the most, thanks to Trump and his people

A word about Trump’s reckless trade war with Canada. This is happening because Trump’s entire career is based on fraud and grift, which means he simply does not know anything about economics, trade, markets. He never has.

Getting an MBA shouldn’t be the only path to success. America needs electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians. We have to invest in trade schools, apprenticeships, and the hardworking Americans who keep this country running.

Canada vs. USA: The Trade War America Always Loses (History Proves It)
Canada vs. USA: The Trade War America Always Loses (History Proves It)
Trade talks between Canada and the United States just collapsed again. But here's what nobody in Washington seems to remember: America has tried this exact playbook before, and it has never once worked. From Smoot-Hawley in 1930, to Nixon's 1971 import surcharge, to five separate softwood lumber disputes since the 1980s, the pattern is always the same: the US imposes tariffs, Canada retaliates, and the US backs down after its own economy takes the bigger hit. In this video, I break down the real history of US-Canada trade wars, what actually happened the last five times America tried to bully Canada with tariffs, and why this round is likely to end the same way. What you'll learn: Why the 1930 Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act backfired so badly on the US How Canada beat Nixon's 1971 tariffs in under four months The decades-long softwood lumber dispute and what international trade bodies ruled Why Canada holds more leverage over US energy than most people realize What's actually different (and not different) about the current Canada-US trade war If you're trying to understand the Canada tariffs situation, the US-Canada trade war news, or just want the historical context nobody's giving you, this one's for you. 🇨🇦 Follow along for more no-nonsense Canadian commentary on politics, trade, and identity. #CanadaUSTradeWar #Tariffs #CanadaNews #USCanadaRelations #TradeWar #CanadianPolitics #SoftwoodLumber #TrumpTariffs #CanadaEconomy #TradeWarHistory -- 🏆 Get exclusive weekly Behind the Scenes videos and more by joining this channel! https://www.youtube.com/todmaffinvideo/join 📰 NEWSLETTER https://newsletter.todmaffin.com ✅ MY LINKTREE: https://links.todmaffin.com ☕ Like my stuff? — Buy me a coffee https://support.todmaffin.com 🦋 Follow me on Bluesky — https://bsky.app/profile/todmaffin.com 🔗 Contact my team — https://contact.todmaffin.com

Mike Lawler just DEFENDED his friend, domestic abuser Max Miller, and doubled down on refusing to return the $17,000 he’s received from Miller.

Worst of all, Mike Lawler blamed Miller’s ex-wife for the horrific abuse she and their two-year-old daughter suffered.
