The Flower Moon rising over the Martello tower last night on Shenick Island off the coast of Skerries, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

The muted dark blue and hues of twilight are pierced by a glowing orange full moon that is breathtaking though a gap on the navy clouds. Directly beneath the moon stands a simple 19th century stone Martello tower as wide as it is tall. It stands alone as the only structure on the small island on which it is built in the Irish Sea.

I'm not sure how you can be against removing this man from office right now. What will it take? A nuke being dropped? It's too late then. The purpose of impeachment and the 25th Amendment is to prevent that type of thing from happening, not just to react to it.

By odd coincidence I happened to be editing photos of our visit to the Louvre when I caught wind of today's events.

Scooter ridding thieves walking into the #Louvre with a construction ladder and robbing the French crown jewels by chainsaw sounds straight out of #Lupin S4.

The crown of Louis XV takes centre frame, it's ornate gold work and precious gemstones in sharp focus under precision spotlights. Through the glass we see tourists admiring the pieces and taking photos on their mobile phones.

Delighted to hear that one of my BTS stills from “In the Opinion of the Censor” has been chosen as a Finalist for Best Cinematic Image at Waterford International Film Festival.

John Kelleher's “In the Opinion of the Censor” is a fascinating documentary on the history of film censorship in Ireland.
In the photo John Kelleher, Ireland's last ever Film Censor and first ever Director of Film Classification takes center frame in the historic Stella Cinema in Rathmines, surrounded by members of his crew left-to-right; AC Donnagh Fitzpatrick, Co-Producer David Power, Co-Writer and Director Andrew Gallimore, and DoP Kevin Minogue. Laurels for Finalist in the Best Cinematic Image category of the 19th edition of Waterford International Film Festival. WIFF 2025 will have live events on the 15th and 16th of November and online events continuing until the 22nd. The overall winners will be announced on the 16th.

A colourful, bright, and cheerful photo that exudes summer and childhood whimsy. It's been a minute, Bluesky! I noticed the theme for today's #BlueSkyArtShow is #Shiny and had a peak through my recent delivery of hundreds of photos I delivered to the amazing organisers of #FéileVegan - Ireland's first every fully vegan festival! - This one felt pretty shiny 😁✨
