Just another mind trying to make sense of the noise.
Simple, moody, and absolutely stunning. The reflections and fog make it feel like a dream. ❤️
Artist Dirk Fleischmann (Niphisi) created this minimalist fine-art composite featuring three red Scandinavian-style houses silhouetted on a dark shore, reflected symmetrically in water beneath fog-draped mountain ridges.

We talk a lot about voting.

But it starts with the things affecting our everyday lives: rent, bills, healthcare, our communities.

So ask: Who has the power to change it? And how do we use our power?

Wanting America to live up to its ideals isn’t cynicism..it shows people still care about the country’s future. The real challenge is turning those ideals into opportunities people can actually experience.
Young Black adults still believe in America’s potential. But they’re questioning whether the country is living up to its promises of freedom, fairness and equal opportunity.

That matters because young people’s skepticism challenges efforts to make those ideals real.

Black America Still Has Hope. Its Young People Have Questions
A new survey finds younger Black adults increasingly skeptical that hard work, government and American institutions deliver equality.

He thinks the veterinarians are there to hurt his mom, so he’s doing everything he can to protect her. That protective instinct is honestly heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. 🥺❤️🐾

When I became a dad, it changed the way I see the world.

We need new people thinking about the future now. Lower costs. Better healthcare. Jobs. A Michigan our kids deserve. More time with each other.

I’m Abdul El-Sayed, dad, and I approve this message.

This shows how quickly trade tensions can spill into markets and real businesses. A U.S. sales ban could hurt Bombardier, but it could also disrupt American suppliers, workers, airports, and customers tied to its massive ecosystem.

Voting shouldn’t be made harder by putting the ballot box farther out of reach. More access means more participation. Every eligible voter deserves a fair shot at making their voice heard.
Tarrant County’s decision to reduce the number of polling locations ahead of midterm elections is another attempt to put distance between voters and the ballot box.

We’re not asking for permission to vote. We’re demanding access.

Tarrant County’s November elections will have 92 fewer places to cast ballots than 2022
County commissioners approved a list of sites that drew criticism from voting rights advocates and local civic groups.

I get the concern, but outright bans can be tricky. I’d rather see clear privacy rules, consent requirements, and real consequences for misuse. New tech shouldn’t get a free pass just because it’s new.
You can just ban socially toxic technologies! They were socially banned like twelve years ago with Google Glasses, we can do it again in more formal ways with this latest attempt to push the Pervert's Delight™ onto society. www.abc.net.au/news/2026-08...
Push for import ban on 'pervert' smart glasses amid privacy concerns
Support is growing for a ban on the import of so-called “smart glasses”, amid an influx of low-cost devices that are being used to film Australians without their consent.

That's actually one of the biggest mindset shifts on Bluesky. Building relationships and showing up consistently matters far more than hoping a single post goes viral.
One thing that you must understand about Bluesky is most of the time, you’re not gonna have random viral posts. Your traction is dependent on having a following. That’s why networking, socializing, and participating in trends is integral to growth

It’s a platform you MUST work to succeed
