I need all of the "AI kills productivity" studies first filtered through what I call the "does this remotely involve SharePoint" lens because if anything involved touches a SharePoint library it's basically cursed by the anti-productivity gods

They're just numberfucking to achieve minmax results on productivity trackers

Weird - surely you would want to encourage employees to use the magical productivity enhancing tools as much as possible, maybe even have a leaderboard to encourage their use, so we can look at all the productivity! Wonder why they have stopped?

Claims of increased productivity rest on the affected people and organizations actually being able to measure productivity which - aside from traditional manufacturing processes - is often very hard to do if not borderline impossible.

This is the main cause of Canada's lagging productivity the past 40+ years!!

The Democratic Party's pitch, in every year I've been alive, has been, "we will do less for workers than we did in the past, but vote for us anyway, or YOU'RE the problem!"

No, the austerity, the police state, and the endless war you support are how fascism developed in the US.

I'm a chart bro too

on AI and productivity:

if productivity directly translates to profit, it can be reasoned that, like currency, a flood of free productivity will cause an inflationary crisis that you cannot produce your way out of.

if it does not, then this whole productivity arms race is fundamentally misguided.

i don't think claude is going to give us the economic productivity equivalent of two WWII economies

Protecting invariants in a limited zone can act as a resource people can draw on as a base for productivity.

There is no “productivity” to be found, they are destroying everything in the name of… slop? bad software? hype? twitter? thievery?

Chatbots were always the longest shot application of AI - maximum human aversion, minimum to zero productivity gain

Chatting while at work does things but doesn’t help with productivity. #jocktober #bulge #uncut #jockstrap

It’s so hilariously fucked that there are approximately 500 trillion “To do list”/productivity apps and every single one is worse than dirt
October 17, 2026 at 2:06 PM
I feel so powerless and pissed off at these people I don't know what to do

we had something so beautiful in game dev, I don't understand why you would willingly destroy it all in the name of productivity
October 14, 2026 at 4:32 PM
In all seriousness, they're cute, but they don't really contribute much to the studio's productivity, so I'll be giving them away in the near future! 🎁
