I draw things and am obsessed with movies starring long-dead actresses.

I'm currently quite in need of some substantial freelance, contract or agency work. If you or anyone you know is looking for a very experienced illustrator, designer and animator then feel free to get in touch.

Tsinder Ash ‘New Beasts’

Fusing experimental folk, dark electronics, jazz, and metal, this sparse, hypnotic album deals with themes of inner demons, ruins, and overcoming.

Starting to loose patience with the people who haven’t apologized yet for the slights against me that I made up in my head.

I dunno… maybe using Tom Cruise, a man who (fairly infamously) seems to live on another planet, to lead a movie that’s a satire about climate change on *this* planet, may have not been the most wise choice.

We watched the "Boorman and the Devil" doc about the making of noted cinematic bomb The Exorcist II and it makes this exact point. Exorcist 2 had some obviously terrible stuff (Burton's performance, the entire script), but John Boorman put his entire genius ass into that weird/dumb/cool movie
Seriously: Hate Digger all you want, but [pauses for flow of hate] movies like Digger are why we need studios. A world in which Digger doesn't get made one in which Sinners and One Battle also don't get made. You miss with Heaven's Gate and you still swung. You miss with Paw Patrol and you >

I love fall so much. I've lived in Vermont my whole life and foliage season still seems like such a completely bonkers and beautiful thing to happen every year. It never gets old. 🍂

Look, I don’t think I’d myself as either a huge success or a “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” kind of guy but I’ve been thinking a lot about working on a kinda memoir project soon.

I just wanna add, this isn’t just a “cheer up and smile, darlin’” type of platitude. It’s just good to not take on and dwell on petty negativities. Learning to just laugh at something/someone and think “that’s stupid ❤️” and leave it at that will save you so must time to focus on things that matter.
A very important lesson that nobody ever teaches you is that you really have to take a lot of responsibility yourself for your day-to-day mood.

Which is to say, you really have to *choose* not to be miserable and complain about everything.
