I'm reading a novel set in current-day Detroit where one of the featured characters is living in the YMCA at Adams and Witherell.
That building closed in 1997 and was demolished in 1997-98. It's now the left-field entrance to Comerica Park.

a game can't end with a kick or forward pass in the air. It was a good game by WMU but don't sully their effort with this kind of stuff.

There seems to be some confusion here, but there's no secret REAL clock with tenths (or hundreths) of a second on it.
The clock in the stadium is the official game clock. If there is 0.4 seconds left in the game, the clock will show 1 second to play. When it hits zero, the game is over.

If there is conclusive evidence showing there was one second left when the WMU defensive back touched the ball, it needs to be shown ASAP.
Either way, there should have been a statement released from the replay officials explaining their exact process on the review and decision.

Here's a problem for the Tigers going forward. The current MLB OPS is .719, so a good offense needs everyday starting players who can hit close to that against lefties and righties.
There are 91 MLB hitters who are qualified for the batting title and have a .700 OPS against RHP and LHP.
