We had a gorgeous day on the St. Clair River to celebrate my father-in-law's 90th birthday.
Our neighborhood got hit HARD by the 65-mph gust front that blew through SE Michigan on Friday evening.
Our neighbors got very lucky - this maple went down from the roots, but missed their house. As far as we can tell, the only damage is a cracked porch railing.

If you are in the Royal Oak area and are looking for a kitten, there's an adorable tabby hanging around the Nature Center at Red Oaks.
She's very friendly and very loud.
