I'm not surprised. Their plan has always been to erase history. It absolutely goes against Mamie Till-Mobley's wishes, she purposely had the casket open for Emmett Till's funeral to show what #they did to him for his "crime" of being Black in the wrong area.

I want to expand on this. 1/

It's also historically racist, since Black women have been masculinized since we were brought here. It helped justify expecting us to do "men's" labor and for us not to be seen as feminine, or otherwise be treated as women.

So I read the article:

1. This happened in 1965 (for context, Henrietta Lacks cells were taken in 1950)

2. There were 31 children apart of this unethical trial, of which almost all were low income and Black.

3. The families didn't find out until 2023 when a magazine investigated the RSV vaccine
Two Black families whose children died after they were used as test subjects in a vaccine trial without their parents’ consent have sued the federal government.

Sample tissues from the boys’ autopsies were stolen to develop the RSV vaccine that is now used around the world.

Missouri lawmakers just cut the state portion of funding for theirs. Again: this is the CHEAPEST MEANS by which children in the state get access to books they can keep. It is being cut because these politicians are cruel, ignorant, and hate children learning.
