Perspective on today's jobs report:

There have now been 19 jobs reports under Trump, and while the decent August report is welcome, it doesn't come close to making up for the remarkably weak performance under Trump over the past year and a half compared to what he inherited.

This POTUS betrays the Constitution and the Union.

He treats millions of Americans as enemies just based on which state we live in.

Quite a recent pattern:
- GOP candidate in Fla. marched alongside neo-Nazis
- Husted fires aide over Nazi photo
- Collins fires aide over swastika images
- State Dept hires speechwriter whom DeSantis fired over video with Nazi imagery
- Trump rewards Paul Ingrassia, who said he has a “Nazi streak”
Republican state legislative candidate marched alongside neo-Nazis, adding to pattern
As a rule, state House candidates’ backgrounds tend not to generate national headlines, but once in a while, there are important exceptions.

Some Dems are running ads on AI data-centers, but they're mostly NIMBY objections. There's an opening to link this to Trump's call for dangerously unregulated AI development, which people will hate.

Public opinion is very fluid here. Time to try bigger arguments. 3/

With Trump unleashing insane tirades against regulating AI, Obama just urged Dems to adopt a comprehensive position on it, warning that failure to act now will be "dangerous."

Trump's malevolence has given Dems a big opening. They should seize on it. 1/

The Real Reason Obama’s Harsh Warning to Dems About AI Is So Unnerving
Most Democrats have more or less the right position on AI. But their arguments are way too narrow to dramatize the real stakes. They should aim higher.

Americans may see the largest premium increase in DECADES.

While prices skyrocket across the board, Trump and Republicans are playing games with your healthcare.

People will get sicker and they don't care.

Your health insurance bills are about to go up
The premium increases stem in part from rising healthcare costs, including higher prices for medical care and expensive prescription drugs.

Trump’s war in Iran continues to drive up energy costs for American families.

Average national gas prices are $4.15 per gallon, nearly $1 more than last year and “the highest price ever for September.”

All this for a war he can’t even explain.

These numbers and maps are alarming.

Many who have been disagreeing with Caraballo in recent days on here find these numbers and maps alarming.

Disagreement is over how to proceed given that one party controls states where these bans have passed and other party controls states where they haven't.
Cis people do not understand how much trans people's rights have regressed in just 5 years.

5 years ago, there were none of these restrictions.

19 states banned legal recognition
21 states have bathroom bans
8 states ban gender marker changes on DLs
25 ban gender affirming care for trans youth
