One of the more peculiar 9/11 traditions was that for a number of years, the major news outlets would just replay their coverage from that day.
It bothered me: it seemed retraumatizing, and provided no additional info or context or perspective. I kept wondering what family members might feel?

I just think that risking your life at a moment's notice to save people you've never met in exchange for no money is a better expression of patriotism than dressing up like a Poundshop paramilitary and intimidating families with kids trying to get onto a ferry.
