I'm playing with one of these Asterra Z+ trackers also. Similar impressions as Eric —good concept, and does what it says. Not sure if it fills a gap in my needs above what the MSM Nomad does.

Asterra Z+ star tracker, first impressions
This is a quick video giving my first impressions of the new Asterra Z+ star tracker. It has a number of great innovations including a built in compass and inclinometer and intrinsic wedge. It seems to have the potential to be a big leap forward in small portable trackers, but can it deliver? This review has not been supported by the manufacturer in any way.

I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.
