Please remember that for every VE Schwab and Stephen King, there are a lot of banned Black, queer, and POC writers you've never heard of, to whom it is maybe not a badge of honor but a denial of their voice. Being banned is not a marketing opportunity, unless one is already rich.
It's Banned Books Week. Please read widely and bravely.

Because this won't be clear to some folks - the Deep Dungeon "Clear any floor of the Palace of the Dead 4 times" is no just a single floor, but sets of 10.
So 40 floors, in total. #FFXIV

I would repurchase an SNES and game carts for it in a heartbeat, if they were re-released at equivalent price points. The ones I used to own have long since been yard sale'd by well-meaning but unaware parents and god I wish I still had them.
Luke half-seriously wonders: What if...everyone just re-released old consoles instead of trying to sell $1000+ new ones?

Being mansplained about music is definitely not new to me or any femme-presenting person who ever attended a rock concert or wore a band tour shirt, but I guess I’m just extra annoyed by getting it on my video game account.
Oh you like misreading song names? Name five frequently misnamed songs.

Physical affection is so incredibly important to Zin. She needs frequent friendly contact: a hand on her shoulder, a hug as greeting, and curling up in bed with a partner who will cuddle with her. #zinlore

The song that sometimes randomly starts playing in my head has changed to Blinded By Light and I’m okay with this.

your cattiness is not righteousness. you are a grown adult trying to doll up your high school bullying as moral correctness. you will inevitably self destruct all of your interpersonal relationships bc you can't just say "i dislike that" or "i disagree" without trying to spin it into a moral issue

i'm gonna need y'all to learn that it's ok to dislike someone just off vibes. it doesn't make you a bad person to not mesh with someone. what DOES make you a bad person is harassing them and trying to make up some sort of moral justification as to why you dislike them, so you can appear righteous

I was on some galaxy brain shit when I was 14 years old and went "what would this character be as an animal" for the FFVI cast and decided Celes was a white-morph gyrfalcon

“Oh, so I do like girls?” is probably the primary reaction little Zin would have.

I originally made Ahmah quickly as a prank…turns out she’s still (imho) one of the most beautiful creatures I ever made. 🤔 😂 Best accident ever. Being able to glam high/level things on her now is a gift that keeps giving.

For those going, be sure to keep an eye on Sunday’s schedule! Dancing Green will be out teaching a few in-game dance emotes! 🕺 Would love to see y’all there! #ffxiv

I forgot to post these from last weekend at the nature park. We also saw a bald eagle fly over but I didn’t get any photos of that.
