While I've found a lot of good resources with tips and troubleshooting for flipper rebuilds, I didn't see a nice close up one of the basics of assembling them. So here is mine, with a small mod to update from the original spring style (over the plunger) to the side mounted.

Back to working on the pinball - a Williams Whirlwind. The right flipper would stop working for minutes at a time. I knew they needed a rebuild so decided to do that. I then found the wire that wasn't soldered properly and causing my intermittent issues. A reminder to always check the common faults!

Doing a slow strip in my garage...
I have a Ms Pacman getting a new decal for the control panel and the joystick really needed a rebuild as well. Citristrip and some plastic has really done well to get it down to bare metal. It's time consuming, (and smells disturbingly like Nair), but effective.

Doing some upgrades/maint on my Whirlwind pinball. A marked improvement on the spinners with a cleanup and new stickers. Learning a lot about electrical and mechanical upkeep, but really love owning this game.

With Twitch's AI update ( That you should opt out of immediately by scrolling to the bottom at - www.twitch.tv/settings/sec... ) it means if a streamer you follow hasn't turned it off it'll be scraping chat for all messages, even if YOU have opted out, it defaults to the channel owners settings.

hey man we used AI in the production process of this game but don't worry none of it made it in the game, it was a huge waste of time and money, and we could've just looked at stock photos at the end of the day. You have to accept the future.
