The last time a president appointed an attorney he had personal ties to, was when Nixon appointed his law partner and campaign manager John Mitchell. Mitchell ended up disbarred and spent 2 yrs in prison for his role as AG protecting Nixon.

Had a 5 hour training today on emotional intelligence. Spent a chunk of the afternoon hearing about the different types of trauma responses. Having spent the last three years in psychodynamic therapy, I think I could have tested out if they had let me. But they didn't

If rfk Jr and all these other sick fucks sat their great grandparents down and told them that we had a way to easily prevent these babies from dying and they're choosing not to use it, they'd get their asses kicked

Many trauma survivors pride ourselves on being particularly independent, & we are-- but scratch the surface, & that independence often comes w/ a side order of fear & resentment that we can't depend on others & had to figure things out growing up we should have had support with.

SNAP is a form of corporate welfare. Why should businesses pay their employees enough to afford groceries, when there's federal benefits to bail them out?
