One of the most enjoyable Manchester City blogs I’ve ever written, based on a truly memorable night in Istanbul where history was made and City haters were slayed. ‘Turkish Delight’ was an all too obvious, but equally sweet and irresistible, headline 🩵🏆🩵🏆🩵🏆🇹🇷

There was a time when City fans had to instigate conversations about Rodri - not anymore. It seems inevitable that he’s heading to Spain, but how should City fans view the player who is synonymous with the Club’s success & how much should he cost Real Madrid?

Manchester City need to shoot a murder of magpies, heap pressure on Mikel Arteta’s misfiring Arsenal and put themselves firmly in the driving seat for a 7th Premier League title in 10 years. A 93:20 moment could once again be pivotal in a City title win!

City have had a fruitful 3 weeks in between international breaks, beating Utd, Napoli, Burnley & Huddersfield and drawing at Arsenal & Monaco. A win at Brentford could see Pep’s men in the Premier League’s top 4, but is it too early to say City are back?

For those questioning the wisdom of City replacing Ederson with Donnarumma, maybe Pep is adapting his possession style of play to incorporate a more direct approach. Now we have Pep Lijnders on the coaching staff it might be a mix of the best bits of vintage Klopp and Guardiola?

Take a quick squint at these two extracts from a superb book by a guy called Bill Browder - a man who Vladimir Putin would have assassinated in a heartbeat. Putin has Trump in his pocket - he has dirt on the narcissistic chump in the White House - so Donald dances to his tune. POTUS is a disgrace.

Quelle Surprise, a new season is upon us, so how better to start than resurrecting City’s alleged breaches of the Premier League’s FFP rules? Ziegler has been relentless in his insidious drip feed of ‘stories’ implying City’s guilt but he - like so many - will be devastated when City are exonerated.
August 16, 2025 at 7:48 AM
I feel sorry for the guy - he’s been under a cloud for the past two years - TWO FRICKIN YEARS - while the clowns who purport to be in charge of football investigated the claims. Two years ago City were on the cusp of buying him for £85m. He’d have been a Premier League champion!
