A good time to remind people that Chris Van Hollen is the only Member of Congress to have ever called for European states to sanction the President and Secretary of State, in this case specifically in response to their attempts to destroy the ICC in order to protect Israel.
If European countries & other signatories to the International Criminal Court have any self-respect, they'd sanction Rubio & Trump for obstructing investigations of Netanyahu's war crimes.
Exclusive | Trump Ramps Up Bid to Dismantle International Criminal Court
The U.S. administration is preparing sweeping sanctions that would cut the court off from much of the global financial system.

Hey, what was the follow-up on this?
I'll probably catch this on Hulu the next day so I can fast-forward through the boring parts. You just know they're going to drag it out like an American Idol finale.

Harvard researchers studied 718 companies and found AI coding agents increased lines of code by 30%, but no major increase in completed tasks or projects.

Meanwhile, review time rose 49%.

Generating code faster hasn’t translated into completing more work. The bottleneck has moved to code reviews.

Trump Family has stolen well more than $10 billion in less than a 2 years, their theft is brazen, big (planes, real estate, crypto scams worth $billions), medium (defense deals, insider trading), small (kick backs, selling tchotchkes). Two things heavily under-reported: size & impact …

I ask again, why are national Dems letting Elon "quietly" fund these races?

We have two test cases. 2024 when Dems didn't make his money an issue. And 2025 Wisconsin, where they did.

Guess which time they won by double digits?
Elon Musk’s America PAC Is Quietly Funding November’s Most Consequential Elections
America PAC’s approach has been unusual: for every dollar it has spent supporting GOP Senate candidates, it has spent almost three dollars attacking Democrats.

The depravity in our courts is sickening and unconscionable.

To put this in perspective chestnut trees used to be dominant species in the United States. Billions of trees were killed by fungal blight and now fully grown America chestnuts are functionally extinct. There is no getting them back. Ever. All for a data center.

A rare 200-tree American chestnut grove in West Virginia may be cleared for data-center development, but the project denies the site is on its land.

Oversight without consequences is mostly theatre. The real question is whether Democrats will restore the tools—antitrust enforcement, labor rights, public-interest regulation—that make corporate power answerable.

Sure, like how if I arrive at the gym and immediately go for a shower, my workout is done in record time. And if I throw my sandwiches straight in the bin, I can finish my lunch in under 10 seconds.

One thing I find endlessly funny about the rise of AI is that it has revealed that there is a large number of people who believe that the reason they wrote essays at school or university is their teachers were desperately waiting for them to provide a definite answer to “Lear: what’s up with him?”

If the incoming dem house has one job, it's not legislating. With Trump veto, it's a fools errand.

The ONE JOB is to build the cases for all the federal laws broken by this lawless administration. In '29, new AG Jack Smith won't need 2-3 years and can go virtually straight to the Grand Juries.
So many laws and norms broken. Exhausting. We must hold them to account, even if it takes years.
