You know what's really fun?

Removing the LLM noise from a codebase you truly care about. This is one of the most energizing and fun programming activity I had in months.
I'm building a SaaS I want to maintained and grow for the next ddecades, this "tool" will not help me reach my goals

I kind of hit a first plateau with the SaaS. We took a small 1 week vacation in august and things never restarted after like it was prior. It's always rough for me these periods and I usually go all over the places instead of trying to keep calm, it's always easy to say / advice, but hard to do

Of course titles means nothing. I've had 2 titles in my career, programmer and entrepreneur.

At least entrepreneur still means something these days, programmer, well not so much unfortunately.
Officially a Staff Software Engineer at Netflix 🎉

…the same title I had 5 years ago at Gatsby.

So friendly reminder that titles are made up and inconsistent!

gmail is not fun to use with a screen reader. I tried Thunderbird after almost 20 years using a web interface for email.

Let's just say, I'm cleaning a lot of crap that I was just leaving there in the web app, not sure why, but it's unsub time. It feel like I'm more engage with my inbox now.

ok, 0 to 1 is done in the sense that I've a first paying customer, someone booked a demo for tomorrow, and there's ~2 lead in the pipeline, it's so little but at the same time gigantesque. Did I freaking finally built something people want. Next step is 10 paying customers, which feels like ⛰️

in my last r/golang post, a reply I got:

> Wow, how did you manage to write so much code while being blind?

People with disability are able to do as much as enable people, IF they're in an environment they can be productive in. Think about this when you gave your next interview.

day-to-day as blind software engineers - I once tried to get my profile in a website that help diversity in tech that helps open companies connect with talent, turns out I never was listed. Well guess what, finding job being disable if very hard as well, even if I'm white. Food for thoughts

One of the few advice that everyone is regurgitating for almost 20y in SaaS world that I believe in is use the boring stuff to build and don't jump in the unknown.

Especially true with LLM these days. I love Gleam, a lot. But Go just allowed me to finally build a SaaS smbs want to pay for.

one thing I like about the ? in syntax like Rust is that my screen reader ask a question about a line, looking at Lisette language at the moment:

let data = io.ReadAll(file)?

Which naturally increase the intonation, really cool on top of not having if err != nil { return x, err }
