Opening up my phone in the morning, see two friends independently say "I'm free today, let's do something" and all I can think is "omg literally persona"
i wanna try peertube because a federated system like that feels like the only real sustainable way to replace youtube, but the load times on some of the instances make me wonder if it just runs a little slow or if its just broken

Super Mario Sunshine is surprisingly more realistic than later Mario games in one specific aspect: here, Mario will start drowning if he hangs on to a ledge in such a way that water is flowing into his nose and mouth, as one would in real life.

seeing all the cool character dialogue stuff that the deadlock folks are sharing almost makes me want to try deadlock again but i played it for like one night and the one game i played took like 40 minutes and apparently thats normal which i cant say sounds comforting

If you think an artist's style looks like AI but you can scroll back through their portfolio and see them doing the same work before 2020, congrats, you're not looking at an AI grifter. You're looking at one of the original victims whose entire style AI stole.

i had to make a new google account last night and they said that they needed to send a text message to a cell number to make sure it wasn't a bot, and they repeatedly emphasized that it wouldn't be associated with the account, and lo and behold guess who was lying.
