Halloweekend reminders!

1. If you're hitting any haunted houses with children, make sure to act scared so that they feel brave, like I did tonight at @nycparks.bsky.social Mad Labs Halloween Festival in Queens.

2. Make sure to vote! Early voting ends Sunday. Costumes allowed. Get out there.

Let me make something very clear: there is nothing that will cancel Tuesday's election. Even if Trump strikes Iran Tuesday morning, the elections will happen.

Do not be afraid. Go vote today, tomorrow, Sunday, Monday, and on Tuesday.

✊ Yesterday in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Jerusalem, hundreds of people, mostly young, spontaneously took to the streets calling for Jewish-Arab partnership in the Knesset for a new future in Israel.

It’s time for change. Let’s make sure it happens. 🧵

Here’s what it’s like to simply exist as Jewish in public. Imagine having the fucking balls to just shout this out in a crowded theater. In what fucking universe does this help Palestine??? This woman doesn’t actually give a fuck about Palestinians.

He handled this so much better then I would have

Attn Alaska voters: Some rural Alaska voting sites haven’t opened, while others opened late or had inconsistent hours, creating barriers for Alaska Native voters. Voters deserve reliable hours and clear information about where to cast their ballots.
Some rural Alaska absentee voting sites failed to open ahead of midterms
Three absentee voting sites “declined to open,” the Division of Elections said Monday, and three had not responded to state officials. Some have opened unevenly.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today.

Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

I know that everyone is focused on Trump's attacks in California and Alaska. My team is fighting in court in both places.

But understand the fight for free and fair elections is much broader. Elias Law Group is currently litigating 92 voting and election cases in 42 states plus DC.
