Puffin Love.

Puffins typically mate for life, yet spend winters by themselves out at sea. When they reunite at their nesting burrow, they perform a greeting ritual called "billing", which is what they are doing here. Taken at sunset.

A pair of puffins rub their beaks together, known as "billing". The background is warm orange tones from the sun setting over the ocean.

I am the daughter of Earth and Water,
And the nursling of the Sky;
I pass through the pores
of the ocean and shores;
I change, but I cannot die.

A handcrafted 'Doors of Durin' diorama, inspired by The Lord of the Rings, by artist @sergiomodelismo.

The scene is built inside a picture frame to create a "living painting" effect. Sculpted putty was used for the rock face and
natural elements like rosemary branches for the trees.

First time trying #POSCA pens!

The plastic cover made blending tricky. Blotting & finger-smearing was the only way I could get a result.

Constructive feedback is welcome.
