I just feel so settled, content and serene today. I know I keep banging on about loving sober life but I really do and my gran said to me you're a much nicer than that monster you were previously.
I'm at hers doing some gardening for her and it's just a joy to be fresh on a Sunday and able to do it.

Now back in bed with coffee and watching The End of Oak Street.

I'm a better person today than I was even before #addiction. Perhaps the battle to overcome it has taught me things I might never otherwise have learned. But the cost of addiction is so enormous that I'd never wish that journey on anyone. Some lessons come at far too high a price.
